Sarah smiled. "I have access to all the Infamous nanites, of course. I can see them, hear them," she snapped her fingers "and control them."
Nat looked at Sarah with a look of horror. Sarah waited for a moment, but nothing happened. Her smile dropped. "Nothing happened."
Mirror universe Nat walked over and sat down at the table. "Oh don't worry, we removed all those nanites and stuff for you all. Sarah here can't control those other nanites, Krystal; you're safe, and Nat, you are too."
Nat blinked. "I didn't know the Infamous had a nanite in me."
Mirror Nat replied, "he didn't, but Emperor Nat did. Let's just say he's got tabs on a lot of people, including the Terran Empire."
Nat blinked again. "Really? Does he have any control over you people?"
Mirror Nat replied again. "Us? No. The actual Terran Empire? Way too much. Hence why we want to take "prime" Nat out and leave our universe while we're at it."
Nat blinked yet again. "Leave your universe? You're bringing your universe's alliance into our universe?"
Mirror Nat replied yet again. "Didn't we go over this before? Yes, and we'll be sure to take out Emperor Nat's alliance in the prime universe's Andromeda Galaxy while we're at it. Happy now?"
Sarah looked over at Mirror Nat. "Don't forget the part about my universe's alliance, ok?"
Mirror Nat winked at Sarah. "Yeah, we'll do that too."
Krystal just rolled her eyes and took a bite of her pizza.
"Sarah... I still don't trust you," she said. "But if working with you means protecting the Federation, then I'll work with you. But if you try and compromise this mission..."
Mirror Nat looked Krystal in the eye. "Just letting you know, if you don't help us complete our mission, the Federation won't stand a chance with the combined forces of Emperor Nat's alliance and the Terran Empire. Just saying."
Nat looked at Mirror Nat. "Why in the world would they work together?"
Mirror Nat chuckled. "You don't know much about the Terran Empire's leadership, do you?"
"We didn't disrupt yours, we outright removed them. That, and we don't want him freed. That would make matters much worse."
Mirror Nat took a bite out of his pizza and continued. "Nat would come back and tag him again, probably, but he'd have a lot of trouble breaking into the emperor's flagship. That thing is... big. Secure. You've seen a ship just like it before, safe to say."
Captain Nat thought for a moment. "You know, if you're doing all this just for your "alliance", why not just take the emperor out and take over the Terran Empire for yourselves?"
Mirror Nat laughed. "Admiral Leeta would come after the Iconians with that anti-time weapon if she saw or heard of them again regardless of who was the emperor, and we don't want to keep them in hiding forever!"
Nat gasped. "Iconians!? You're working with the mirror Iconians!?"
Mirror Nat shrugged. "All twelve of'em, considering we saved them from that anti-time weapon. Well, mostly, anyway. Had to sacrifice the Andromeda Dyson Sphere and move all their stuff into 3 other Spheres, but it worked out when we temporally shielded said spheres, and thus them."
Nat questioned. "Wouldn't they vanish if you lowered those temporal shields?"
Mirror Nat replied, "no. Our temporal shields are a lot better than yours; if the timeline changes while under the protection of our temporal shields, you'll be immune to the change in the timeline, even if you drop said shields later. I mean, you won't be safe from any future changes in the timeline if the shields are down, and things might get a little messy if that happens, but it works out."
Nat looked him in the eye. "Iconian brains are bound to the timeline anyway. Does it actually work?"
Mirror Nat answered. "They're bound to the original timeline from before the anti-time weapon hit them, at least for now. We know their Heralds were fine when we ran some tests with them, so I'm the actual Iconians will be too. It's... confusing, to say the least."
Krystal just facepalmed, unsure what to even think about all this.
"And what's to stop them from coming into OUR universe after you and doing it all over again?" she asked. "You can't just keep running. You'll leave a trail of destruction behind. And if you do keep running... where does it end?"
Mirror Nat chuckled. "Don't worry, we have a way. Once we arrived in your universe, we'll jump away to the Andromeda Galaxy and take out your universe's alliance, send their Heralds back to your Iconians, give Sarah's Heralds back to her, send the various other members off to their factions in your universe, and drain Nat of his super-Q powers, rendering him entirely powerless. Once that's done we'll instruct all his nanites to self destruct, except of course for the Terran emperor's, and the one in his flagship. We'll have them kill the emperor and blow up his ship so the next guy can take over. By the time he or she thinks to chase after us, it'll be all too late to do anything to catch us out in your universe's Andromeda Galaxy."
Nat facepalmed. "Do you have to bring the whole alliance then? How do you intend to take away Nat's super-Q powers and regain control of the alliance's Heralds?"
"Oh, the Iconians have ways of reprogramming the Herald's loyalties, and as for Nat..." Mirror Nat motioned to a medallion hanging from his neck, shining with what appeared to be a fusion of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and Iconian symbols. "I had a friend in our alliance make these for us. They've got a good range, too."
Krystal pointed at Mirror Nat.
"That doesn't solve one of your problems though. Admiral Leeta's temporal weapons," she pointed out. "She's still a threat to you too. As long as she has those weapons, your Iconian allies are vulnerable."
"Leeta could still pose a threat by taking over as Emperess," Krystal said. "Our intel says her forces are more loyal to her than they are the Emperor. Not only that, as long as she commands the Enterprise, she's got some weight behind her. Even without her temporal weapons, we're looking at an Imperial Civil War that could result in a highly aggressive and vindictive Emperess Leeta."
She took a drink before pointing her bottle at Mirror Nat.
"We have to consider the bigger picture here too. Not just your alliance, but your whole galaxy."
"Leeta's already proven she wants our universe," Krystal countered. "Right now she doesn't have the full support of the Empire. If she becomes Emperess, she will."
"We implicate Leeta as part of a conspiracy," Krystal suggested. "Get the Empire paying more attention to her sooner. You take out her temporal weapons, she'll have to rely on conventional. That civil war I mentioned... we try and kick it off before she can consolidate her power. While she has a fleet, she's still reliant on her temporal weapons to maintain power. We stick to the plan, but add Leeta in somehow. That should not only distract the Empire in the Badlands, but keep them busy until they sort out the 'loyalty' of thier forces in the region."
"Haven't figured that out yet," Krystal replied. "We already have reason to believe she's got her eye on being Emperess. Her attack on DS9 showed she had the power of the Pah Wraiths. With that, she could challenge the Emperor. But even then she'd need time to prepare. Why not deny her that time?"
Nat looked at Sarah with a look of horror. Sarah waited for a moment, but nothing happened. Her smile dropped. "Nothing happened."

Nat's jaw dropped. "What?"
Mirror Nat replied, "he's been tagged with one of Emperor Nat's nanites, of course. Nat could take control of him at any time."
