"Banks, sir. Ensign Aurelia Banks, research and analysis," she makes a vague gesture towards the floor and the lower depths of ESD. "Since I've been looking at those nanites, Admiral Quinn sent me up here to see if I could assist you and your medical team at all - but none of them seem to be here, unless medical uniforms have changed a lot since I last saw them..." she looks at the other ensign, "I don't think you are the only one who doesn't know what's going on." She turns back to Captain Jade, "Oh, and I was asked to give you this PADD, sir".

What do you do when somebody goes into meditation and doesn't come out?
Where's the only place in the universe that Romulus still exists?
Can you cope when your minds are playing tricks on you?
"Yea... well... we had an Imperial Terran infiltrate and tried to either abduct or kill me a few minutes ago," Krystal replied, taking the PADD and looking over it. "Still trying to make sense of everything myself."

She frowns in concern, and alarm. "Good grief. Is everyone OK? Did they catch him?"
Nat glanced over at Banks. "Specializing in what, exactly? Nanites?"
"USS Magpie, Aurora class survey vessel. No, not really. Any decent scientist has to know something about nanoscience - what do you think your jackets are made of? There's no such thing as a nanite, really. Everyone short of geologists've been working together on these little swine since they were found, biology's my special training - " starting to warm to her theme, she is interrupted as Nat's combadge goes off.
"Admiral Quinn to Captain Nat. This is just to confirm that I did send Captain Elric and Ensigns Sandara and Banks. It pays to make quite sure who everyone is at the moment, it seems," Quinn adds with a short mirthless laugh. "I had to take a chance on the two ensigns - I decided somebody with less connection to this might be more likely than my own staff to be who they say they are. Those two PADDs I gave them were set to send me a signal when they were activated - and I see they have reached their destination and without anyone trying to peek at them on the way. If you need any extra help, consider those three assigned to your team until further notice. You're clear to tell them as much about the situation as you see fit."

Elric looked from Ensign Banks to Captains Jade and Nat. "I did arrive part-way through your conversation and may have missed some things. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you must've concluded Captain Jade's condition as a result of nanites? That would explain Ensign Banks being put to that research. If so, would any of that research help such effects on Captain Jade be reversable, or manageable?"
Krystal crossed her arms over her chest.
"Alright... I want everyone to meet me aboard Lexington in 15 minutes," she finally said. "Crew lounge. If anyone doesn't know their way around a Sovereign class... speak up now."
Krystal raised an eyebrow.
"My ship," she said. "My rules. Crew Lounge to meet up, then we can go to my Ready Room. Figured the junior officers might feel more comfortable with a more public location to start."
Nat raised an eyebrow as well. "If anyone caught even a word of this, we'd be found out by any one of mirror Nat or Admiral Nat's spies. Honestly, I'd recommend an entirely different--"
Now Rear Admiral 11 of 14 walked in, and headed straight for us. "Would appreciate if you guys would let me know where you were next time, after all, I was assigned to this mission."
Nat blinked. "They actually made you an admiral? Surprise, surprise."
Nat shrugged. "Not every ship, just any ship they figure is worth checking out. Some random ship that we've never mentioned or thought of would probably work."
"Very well," replied Elric. "As soon as I can, I'd like to investigate the aformentioned data on this medallion further. In the meantime, I'll see you on the ship."

He nodded to everyone and left the Infirmary.
Aurelia nodded "ready when you are Sirs". She looked increasingly worried at the conversation that followed...
