"They found nothing..." Krystal replied. "That's what's bugging me. How can a Trill woman with at best latent telepathic abilities beat a full blood Betazoid? I could feel him in my head ready to rip my mind apart... and... I forced him out. How is that possible?"
11 of 14 shook her head. "A nanite? Q powers? Some other force we don't know about?"
An officer came up to 11 of 14 with a padd, handing her the padd and then walking away. She looked at the padd. She seemed a little concerned. "Welp, this isn't good news. Anything you can tell me about mirror Nat and his ship? His alliance? Anything?"
"Temporal tech, Time dialation capabilities," Krsytal shook her head. "That's all I can tell you. I don't even know what class she is. They also are wanting to apparently get away from the Empire and settle in our Andromeda Galaxy. I'm still a little skeptical on that detail. Other than that... I... I don't know."
Nat and Sarah walked out of the med bay. Nat had heard some of the conversation, and joined in. "Their own display they showed us suggested it was a Mobius, although I can't say if that's true or not. Even then, it could just be a similar shaped ship, like a Paradox."
Nat replied, somewhat calmly. "I was trying to protect you people from whomever might attack. In the end, I decided to stay out of the way until that somebody decided to come. They have. Hence, I'll be prepared to destroy them, but I'd rather be on your side in all this. Really. The word about the Terrans preparing an invasion? It's a lie. They're unknowingly preparing to be reinforcements for you when mirror me's alliance decides to launch their invasion when you least expect it!"
"While I admit I've been skeptical about your counterpart's intentions, that doesn't explain the current hostilities between us and the Terran forces in the Badlands. Other than Admiral Leeta going rogue, it looks like the Empire's the aggressor here," Krystal replied. "Meanwhile, you betrayed the Federation, and launched an attack on Earth itself. Not to mention holding a starfleet officer captive to watch the whole thing from the bridge of your suped up Cardassian ship!"
She got up and stared him down.
"Give me one good reason why I should believe you any more than your counterpart, who I still don't trust in the first place."
Nat replied. "You know, people are going to wonder what you're staring at. Oh, and I never actually attacked Earth. I only threatened it to get you know who's attention."
He shifted in the chair. "Besides, I'm not saying the Terran Empire isn't an aggressor. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to get them to actually work together to do anything useful."
He looked over out the window at the Mephiles, then turned back to Krystal. "You want to know what will happen if things continue how they have been, because I can tell you."
"Fine. I'll tell you, but you know what? I could tell you anything and have all the evidence I needed, and you know it. So you know what? How about I let you live it for yourself?" Nat replied as he snapped his fingers.
U.S.S. Lexington - An Alternate Future
In a moment, Krystal found herself on the bridge of the Lexington. Fires were everywhere. Half the crew was already dead. At the moment, they were locked in battle with a squadron of Mobius Temporal Destroyers. It certainly wasn't going well.
"Their Alliance invaded your homeworlds while you were busy meeting them, and already won. Now you're fighting to the last ship in the form of a resistance, but it too is failing, even with me giving you a little hidden help here and there."
He motioned to Krystal's first officer as they were killed in an explosion. "What will you do?"
Nat eyed her. "I've brought you into your future given how things are going now," he said as he snapped his fingers, freezing time for everyone but himself and Krystal. "Imagine how things might go if you worked on my side against their invasion, hmm? In the end, we'll counter their ambush with another ambush. We'll repel their assault and save the Federation. The Terran Empire will probably be too focused on the mirror Alliance to attack the Federation, and they'll have more pressure to deal with Admiral Leeta. In the end, the Federation wins."
He continued. "Oh, and before you question what happens with my alliance afterwards, I can play nice. I'll even dissolve the alliance. Heck, I'll even give the Iconians back their Heralds, send the members back to their own home factions, and as for Sarah's Heralds and the Natara and Sarahara Dyson Spheres, I'll hand control of them over to the alternate me, granted a few... requests."
"And exchange for all that... what do you want from me?" Krystal asked, still looking lost. "You could have brought this up with Admiral Quinn, yet you came to me."
Nat walked around a bit. "He wouldn't believe it at all, but you're dealt with enough weird stuff to actually believe anything I'm saying here. What do I want, you ask? That alternate me you've already met? He's gonna be Fleet Admiral, in my place. You're gonna give him command of my old fleet, and anyone from The Alliance that wants to join Starfleet for whatever reasons. As for my crew, you can put them on trial for their having worked for me, but you can't convict them. You can't make them leave Starfleet, either. In fact," he continued as he sighed, "I'd actually rather them serve on whatever ship the alternate Nat uses as his flagship, right where they belong. Don't bother trying to find their alternate universe counterparts, either; they're still in their universe, probably in their universe's alliance's Andromeda Dyson Sphere."
He walked over a little closer, his eyes almost glowing with a deep red color. "And if any of you do anything against those commands... well, let's just say some unique probability altering powers will prevent that, and they could end up being lethal."
His eyes returned to normal. "Oh, and as for his new ship, I might recommend that Eclipse class ship, the Mephiles. Be warned, it's actually one of my ships. Don't worry, if you do everything I tell you, my people will be on your side. Alright?"

11 of 14 nodded. "Of course it is. Sarah?"
Sarah shrugged. "Nothing to add."
