Krystal rolled her eyes.
"On this ship, you quickly learn to not say things like that," she said with a smile. "Then again... I still haven't... wait... I was in sickbay. And they didn't say I was pregnant. Nevermind."
She seemed to relax a bit after realizing that detail.
Krystal crossed her arms across her chest.
"He already admitted that he could wipe our memories of the time we were on his ship if we wanted," she said. "Who's to say if he didn't already do that? We don't know. And with the time dialation, its entirely possible that we were there a lot longer than we thought. I could have gone to sleep one night, only to wake up thinking it was the next day when it was really the day after. His ship was more advanced than anything we've seen. The holodeck simulation alone proved that."
Krystal motioned for everyone to follow her before heading up to the Bridge. After a brief check in with her crew, she went into her Ready Room and sat behind her desk.
"Thank you, sir. It has been getting a bit - " Aurelia laughs. "You should get that looked at, as far as anyone can, chronitons can be a bit nasty," she comments as they set off, sounding concerned.
---
Aurelia takes a seat. "So... what is going on here? What do you mean by a 'chronostorm'? And do you mean "Mirror Nat" as in your mirror double, sir, or "Mirror Nat" as in the notorious Admiral Nat's mirror double? I do know he's involved someh-"
"..."
"...you're not Admiral Nat, are you?" she adds, trying to make it sound like a joke.

What do you do when somebody goes into meditation and doesn't come out?
Where's the only place in the universe that Romulus still exists?
Can you cope when your minds are playing tricks on you?
"Is there any other?" Krystal spoke up before looking over at Aurelia. "No he's not. He's a Captain from a parallel universe to our own. And Chronostorm was the name of the ship we were taken to."
"I believe it used to be disputed whether the 'mirror universes' that various captains told of having been to were actually all the same universe or not. ...But with all that's happened, it's looking like there is only one - or, at least, only one that matters to us in this universe right now."
"No he's not. He's a Captain from a parallel universe to our own. And Chronostorm was the name of the ship we were taken to."
"Right, I see. ...That's a relief. Anything seems possible at the moment." She thinks for a moment. "Would it help if I start by explaining as much as I know?"

"No," she explains in some confusion, "I was talking about you, you're a captain, he's an admiral."
"Well," she begins, "there is, or was, a man called Darren McDonnell, who seems to have been quite mad, and he ruled this outlaw fleet out in deep space. He had a special type of part-organic nano-devices which he tagged his followers with, to control them - he could use the nanite to kill or disable them remotely if they turned on him - and also, potentially, to enhance their abilities in various ways. Allegedly, Admiral Nat is using nanites like this too.
"Well, you might have heard, some days ago - must be more than a week now - a woman called Alyce Rose Kassidy was killed on this station. One of McDonnell's nanites was found in her body.
"And soon after that - is it OK for them to know about this? - " *she turns to Krystal, apparently waiting for leave to continue* - "McDonnell was captured on this station, and he somehow managed to inject Captain Jade with one of his nanites. Shortly afterwards he disappeared, and there's been no sign of him since. The nanite recovered from Ms Kassidy was sent down to the labs where a team including me have been analysing it for any further clues.
"Then an hour or so ago, I was given the message that Captain Jade had fainted and been taken to Sickbay, and that there they'd found there had been small changes in her DNA, and she'd started displaying psychic abilities that she'd never had before. So would I get myself over there pronto and answer questions about those nanites for the doctors. ...I got there, and the doctor had been arrested and three total strangers were talking about Mirror Universe spies, and now there are chronitons, and you're saying someone kidnapped you. Can anyone please explain what's the matter?"

"Myself. Captain Nat, and one other were abducted recently, and brought aboard a Terran Temporal ship that apparently was utilizing a Time Dialition Field," Krystal said.
Elric continued searching for a way out of his cell, appalled at the fact he was kidnapped before the meeting with them, though, not surprised. It was then he noticed the force field was off all along. He was never confined to begin with. To that, he left the Brig and began walking the ship.
Aurelia nods in silence as she listens.
...
"That reminds me, Captain Elric still hasn't arrived. We should ask them if they know where he is."

"I don't know who it is you want to send for from Earth Spacedock, but I can ring up about Captain Elric," Aurelia volunteered. She went over to the comms panel and evidently made a call to ESD Ops.
"This is Ensign Banks, can you tell me the current location of a Captain Elric? He was to meet some people here and he hasn't; we're a bit worried about him."
She didn't have to explain why. The deaths, arrests and apparently random disappearances on ESD in the past few weeks had left everyone looking over their shoulders. Anyone arriving ten minutes late for dinner was likely to find their companion looking around anxiously and wondering if they should contact security. "Let me bring up the... He's not here. Down as having left the station 22 minutes ago, by transporter."
"For USS Lexington?" "That's right."
"I see. Thank you. Just a moment." Aurelia puts her hand over the panel. "Well," she says, unnecessarily, "he's not here."
