After a series of twists and turns through the corridors, a turbolift ride, and then more walking, they found themselves in what appeared to be the Chrorostorm's astrometrics lab. The room was fairly small, with 4 wall consoles around the room not unlike those on Wells class bridges, and a round console in the middle. Mirror Nat waved his hand over it, and the holographic projector in it's center lit up, already displaying a holographic display of the mirror universe Milky Way Galaxy. At several points were red dots; Mirror Nat pointed to one and a holographic display of a Mobius Temporal destroyer, labelled the I.S.S. Chronostorm, appeared close by. "There's us, not too far away from our universe's Badlands, under temporal cloak. All those other dots represent various other objectives of... interest. Feel free to look around. Don't worry, you won't find anything we don't want you to. It's already been locked away from your reach."
Sarah reached over by the mirror universe equivalent of the Natara expanse, named the Orisis expanse. It was classified.
Nat reached by Qo'Nos. Turns out the system was the headquarters of Admiral Nat, who was the admiral who's fleet controlled Klingon space. Nat turned to mirror Nat. "Are any of the guys in your fleet part of The Alliance?"
Mirror Nat replied. "Many of them, but not all. A lot of them weren't trustable to work with us, that was for sure."
Sarah pointed at Cardassia. Headquarters system of Fleet Admiral Anna Walker, who controlled Cardassian space, and also the "official" Klingon-Cardassian Alliance government, which was apparently no more than people inserted there to be the face of the government, which was really all controlled by the Terrans. Apparently, the original leadership, including Regent D'Vak and Legate Kentar, had disappeared, and were apparently executed, in an invasion by Admiral Nat. Sarah questioned him. "You know, they could've proved invalueable to your alliance."
Mirror Nat winked. "They are part of The Alliance, silly, as are a bunch of other people apparently executed. D'Vak, Kentar, D'Tan... heck, even the Founders. Oh, and the Borg Collective, too. They're all hidden away."
Nat looked at him. "The Borg? You guys saved your universe's Borg? What for? Aren't you worried they'll try to assimilate you?"
Mirror Nat shrugged. "That's what D'Vak's well hidden anti-Borg weapons are for, of course. So far, the Borg King has proved cooperative, no pun intended."
Mirror Nat laughed. "I'm surprised you didn't know. Well if you ever think of boarding one of their ships without their say-so, you'll have another surprise coming!"
Nat looked over. He looked horrified. "You mean they're... aggressive? Fast moving? Basically our Borg without the obvious weaknesses?"
Mirror Nat pointed a finger-gun at him. "You got that right, buddy."
The holoprojector displayed all sorts of data on Leeta's fleet. Starship names and types, mostly. A number of Mobius Temporal Destroyers were present, along with a few Paradox Temporal Dreadnoughts, and numerous other Terran ships. It also had information on Empok Nor, a Federation Starbase, and a Klingon-Cardassian Alliance starbase that the Terrans had completely taken over.
Nat looked at the data. He was curious to find any weaknesses of any sort.
"This soon after the Iconian War..." Krystal said before shaking her head. "Don't have the resources. We can defend, but we can't launch an offensive. Starfleet, the KDF, and Republic are focused on containment and defense right now. Preventing the Empire from expanding out of the Badlands."
"The Empire is naturally more aggressive," Krystal said. "We won't need as much to implicate her. If we could somehow make it look like she's making a play for the throne now rather than focusing on our universe..."
She thinks for a moment.
"Have there been any instances in your history where someone rose to power because of new technology? And how widespread is the temporal tech? Fleet wide or consolidated with Leeta's forces?"
"You've never heard of Empress Sato, have you? Well yes, there have been instances of people taking over using technology much more powerful than the usual. The temporal tech is mostly a Leeta thing, but I think the Chronostorm is proof enough that Leeta's temporal ships aren't the only ones."
"I'm not familiar with your history Captain," Krystal pointed out. "But I think we have something now. If they're mostly in Leeta's fleet, that means she has an advantage over the rest of Imperial Starfleet. We just need to make it look like she's exercising that advantage now or sooner than she would have on her own. I think we intercepted some personal logs from Leeta, where she was talking about ensuring the loyalty of those under her, otherwise they would have an 'accident' with their temporal shielding."
Nat spoke up. "I've seen them as well, and I'm pretty sure Sarah has too. Tell me, does the Terran Empire even know about Leeta's temporal... activities, like using them to supposedly wipe out the Iconians? If not, we could leak that. Tell them everything, and they'll probably figure they're next to be messed around with using time travel. We could use that."
Mirror Nat looked impressed. "Seems to work out pretty well, doesn't it?"
"I'm not entirely sure," Krystal replied. "While the station itself apparently had an Orb native to your universe, that doesn't explain all the ships that come through, let alone the three stations in the Badlands."
"You won't have to worry about allied forces in the Badlands, Leeta's bogged down with the Empire gunning for her, and... my universe gets a breather. Sounds like a win/win to me."
"We just grab her, we're gonna have to hold her," Krystal pointed out. "Otherwise she might report back to Leeta that we're working against her. And having her just beamed out... that's gonna raise a red flag itself."
Yeah, I forgot to empty my inventory after running a mission... great wall materials!

"Borg King? What?" she asked before sighing and taking a drink. "Different universe..."

Nat sighed. "That's wonderful."
Mirror Nat glared. "Which means we still need the Badlands open free long enough for all of us to cross through without you Feds shooting at us!"
