"What about..." Krystal trailed off when she saw her hand... right before the medical tricorder floated over and landed in her hand. The glow disappated shortly after that.
Krystal looked at her hand, and the tricorder that had just floated into it.
"Maybe... this was a contengency plan? On the off chance I had to face off against someone with powers?" she said. "Probably can only do so much though, but it would still be quite a surprise. The only problem is... I don't know how to use this."
A human Ensign strolls into the Food Court, reaches the replicator and chooses a steak and water. He notices a Trill Female and a Human male deep in conversation. He sits and eats his food. After a while he works up the courage and walks to the pair. "Pardon me Captains, I'm new on ESD and wondering if you could show me to Admiral Quinn's office? He sent me a summons."
"Ex Astres Per Aspera"
"To the Stars, despite adversity"
The ensign was given directions to Admiral Quinn's office, as the other player controlled characters are actually in Sickbay.

"Nat... Maybe you and Sarah should bring up the idea of preparing for anything with Admiral Quinn," Krystal said. "I'm getting the evil eye from the Doc."
"Doc... I'm fine," Krystal said.
"We don't know what is happening to you Captain. Until further notice you are not leaving Sickbay," the Doctor replied.
"Doc..."
"One more word and I will sedate you."
Krystal glared at the doctor. He was easily 50 times worse than her own CMO.
Admiral Quinn nodded.
"As with anything that comes from the Mirror Universe... I'd have to agree," he said. "I trust Captain Jade, and she seems to trust you."
He quickly looked over something before returning his attention to Nat.
"Where is Captain Jade anyways?"
"And I'm sure she's enjoying that experience," Quinn said sarcastically. "I'm already setting up large fleet 'patrols' in the core systems, but I have a feeling we're going to need more than that if they turn hostile."
Nat replied. "Exactly. We considered the possibility of modifying ships to generate anti-tachyon pulses that would send their ships back to their universe, but we don't have any ships that can generate that amount of power. That said, I'd recommend we start making those modifications to our Starbases immediately, starting with Earth Spacedock."
Nat replied, "I'm glad you agree. Of course, it gets worse. Admiral Nat is involved, evidently, as he decided to take us, and Krystal, earlier to "have a chat" with us about mirror Nat and his alliance."
Nat continued, "you should also know that mirror Nat told us that Admiral Nat had control over the Terran emperor, and we have reason to believe that somehow, the Terran emperor is actually The Infamous, albeit captured and forced into service by Admiral Nat."
"Exactly. As far as I'm concerned, they're probably all lying, although Admiral Nat said that he'd have The Alliance help us defend from the mirror Alliance, so I suggest we keep an eye out for them too." Nat said, seeming pretty tired of all this.
Nat arrived in time to find... several nurses sprawled out on the deck, Krystal being held at gunpoint by an Agony Phaser being held by the doctor, and a blue barrier protecting Krystal.
"As I have tried to explain, you're not going anywhere," the Doctor said in a dark tone.
"What... the frak... was that?"
