"Who knows..." Krystal sighed. "Frankly as long as he is no longer a threat... I don't care. He betrayed the Federation and tried to destory Earth. I think that made his intentions clear."
"Nat tried to do the same thing Rittenhouse did over a hundred years ago, except for one detail," Krystal said. "He didn't want the Federation to control the galaxy for 'galactic peace'. Subjugating everyone does not bring about peace. And threatening planetary destruction if one man is not turned over certainly speaks for itself."
She backed off a bit.
"I would still like to know why he suddenly turned on everyone like that though."
Krystal sighed and headed over to the replicator.
"We can't keep going on like this," she said as she got herself some water. "We need to end this... feud between us peacefully. But for now we have bigger problems to deal with."
Sarah shrugged. "If I don't, then either they end up with a lot more Iconian Heralds, or your universe's Iconians end up with a lot more Heralds. Either way, is it really a good thing? I mean, who says I have to be the bad guy? I could help keep the Mirror alliance from invading your Milky Way."
Nat replied. "True enough, but still. Why start?"
Sarah gave no reply.
Nat sighed. "And to think if it weren't for one plasma conduit explosion, I'd be in your shoes and vice versa. With the things that one thing can change, you'd think there was a universe where I was an admiral still in Starfleet commanding from some Galaxy X. Maybe another U.S.S. Sally. Or maybe captain of a Prometheus in a universe without all those fancy new exterior refits they've been putting out. That'd be cool."
Sarah sighed. "I don't believe you're thinking of those possibilities now, you..."
Mirror Universe Nat - I.S.S. Chronostorm, Guest Quarters, A long while later, their time
It had been a while now, but thanks to the ship's internal temporal manipulation, it wouldn't seem nearly as long to the people outside, including Captain Nat, Sarah, and Krystal. Mirror Nat got up and looked at mirror Krystal. "So, the command codes?"
Krystal held up a hand.
"The Iconian War is over in our universe. The only one left that's still hostile is T'Ket. The rest have agreed to stop fighting," she pointed out. "If you're willing to help protect our galaxy... then I don't see why not. But it can't involve taking over said galaxy."

"You're a good one," Mirror Krystal said as she got up and picked up a PADD. "Maybe we can do this again sometime. Anyways... as I said before, you'll need either myself or my counterpart to use these codes as I have them behind a voice print identification. Nothing short of the Emperor himself would be able to override it."
She offers the PADD to Mirror Nat after working on it for a minute.
"If you're even half as good with her later as you just were with me..." she trailed off with a seductive smile. "Well... who knows."
Sarah looked at Krystal. "I suppose it's worth consideration."
***
Mirror Nat looked at mirror Krystal. "She won't let me near her, actually. Besides, I'm sure she'll be willing to help us in what will eventually save their precious "Federation" if I say so myself. Besides, this is a timeship. I can prove how the future would end for them, or at least, make them think I'm showing them the real future if they don't cooperate..."
Mirror Nat smiled. "Of course, you weren't half bad yourself. It's no wonder nobody on your ship has told anyone about how you cause damages on purpose." He smirked. "I certainly wouldn't."
Krystal thought for a moment.
"Peacemaker... huh... kinda wondered why I was given that title..." she mused.
***
Mirror Krystal smiled.
"If she's anything like me, she's smart," she said as she went to get dressed. Although she did so slowly as if to give him a show. "As to her not letting you near her... I'm sure you'll find a way."
Mirror Krystal shrugged and finished getting dressed.
"Well... guess we should figure out what happens to me now huh?"
***
Krystal just got some water for Sarah and Nat and sat down again, unsure what to say now.
"I'd rather not lose my ship," Mirror Krystal replied. "Just do enough to warrent leaving the region and returning to a shipyard facility for repairs."
***
And thus the trio of displaced officers waited.
"Well that depends," Mirror Krystal replied. "What would I get out of it?"
***
A little too quiet for Krystal, who ended up getting up and pacing.
"I never liked waiting..." she said.
Mirror Nat shrugged. "You'd probably be in the admiralty with a fleet of your own, and no Terran Empire watching you 24/7. Heck, I might even be able to get you a better ship. You ever want to command an Odyssey? You know, one of those tactical ones with lots of weapons."
***
Sarah started pacing as well. "Somebody tell a good joke or something."
Nat spoke up. "Why didn't the skeleton cross the road?"

Nat turned to Sarah, evidently angry. "Oh, coming from you! You're just like him!"
They continued yelling at each other that it became inaudible.

"Shut up! Both of you!" she yelled.

Sarah stopped. "A few guys we had to capture since they were from a ship that could have had anti-Iconian devices on board."
Nat questioned Sarah. "Did it?"
Sarah shook her head. "Nope."

Nat sighed. "That will do for now, I guess. Not that we have any choice."
